Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Neuro (Med/Surg) position requiring BLS certification and every other weekend and holiday shifts.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital setting on the 6 North Neurology unit
- Primarily care for neurological adult patients
- Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Agency personnel must comply with strict dress and appearance policies; jeans, halter-tops, shorts, sleeveless shirts, and facial earrings are prohibited
- Meal and break periods must be recorded according to hospital policy
- No payments are made for sick time or call offs, but make-up shifts may be permitted
- COVID vaccination card may be required
Requirements
- Active RN license required
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- License verification must be dated within 30 days of start date
