• Unit: Neurology Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nurse Contract
• Start Date: December 22, 2025
• End Date: February 16, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12 Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,880–$2,020
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required
• Electronic Medical Record: Epic EMR

PCU Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or eligibility to obtain
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Neuro-Progressive Care, Stepdown, or ICU nursing
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Successful completion of a Neuro-Progressive competency exam upon offer
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Applicants from select local counties may not be eligible for this travel nurse job

PCU Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Neurology Progressive Care Unit
• Monitor and assess neurological status, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as prescribed
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery expectations
• Accurately document all care provided using Epic EMR
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and staff
