Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring an active AR or compact RN license and at least one year of recent OR experience.

Responsibilities

• Role is in the Operating Room (OR) of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Patient population includes surgical patients in a women's hospital environment
• Travel assignment with a typical 13-week contract length
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• No first-time travelers are specified
• Annual holidays may require coverage as assigned
• Onboarding includes verification of licensure and background checks

Requirements

• Active AR or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent OR nursing experience
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• Former perm staff at any CHS facility must have at least a 2-year break before consideration
• No local candidates allowed; must live beyond a 50-mile radius of the facility
