This rural health clinic operates in conjunction with a critical access hospital to provide comprehensive primary care services to the community. The facility serves patients of all ages through outpatient clinic services and maintains 24-hour pediatric emergency coverage requiring rapid response capabilities. The clinic environment emphasizes rural health experience and strong pediatric skill sets to effectively manage both routine primary care and critical access hospital emergency situations.

Montana offers diverse outdoor recreational opportunities including whitewater rafting through Glacier National Park, snowmobile tours, and guided experiences such as ranch vacations and natural hot springs visits. The area features notable attractions like the Going-to-the-Sun Road and Grinnell Glacier, along with family-friendly activities such as river rafting and multi-day adventure trips. Visitors can access various guided services for hiking, boating, hunting, and resort cabin accommodations throughout the region.

The physician will provide comprehensive family medicine care to patients of all ages in a rural clinic setting three days per week from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, managing approximately 15-20 patients daily with preventative, acute, and chronic care services. The position requires 8 24-hour pediatric call shifts per month with responsibility for newborn resuscitation, patient stabilization, hospital admissions, and transfer coordination, requiring the ability to report to the hospital within 20 minutes of receiving a call. The clinician will work collaboratively with other physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and medical assistants to ensure optimal patient outcomes in both clinic and critical access hospital environments.
