Lead Cardiovascular Technologist at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka, CA. This position is full time and will work 10-hour, Day shifts.

Under the direction of the Department Manager/Director, the Lead Tech assumes responsibility for limited supervisory activities in the department. The Lead Tech is technically and/or clinically competent, demonstrates and adheres to department standards, and serves as an administrative, clinical and/or technical resource to department staff. Clinical and/or technical responsibilities account for 75% or more of worked hours. Able to perform the competency standards of the Cardiovascular/ Interventional Imaging Technologist. Provides age-appropriate care for patients as defined by the department scope of service.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of a program in Radiology Imaging Technologist approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
• Upon hire: California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 2 years experience as a hospital-based Cardiovascular and/or Interventional Imaging Technologist.
• 2 years Cath Lab experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Upon hire: Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• Supervisory experience.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
