ICU RN Full-Time Day Shift with every 3rd weekend rotation

The ICU at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital is a 17-bed unit specializing in vascular and surgical critical care, with a diverse caseload that focuses mainly on general ICU care, including some neurological cases. The unit is known for its diversity and strong team dynamics, fostering an environment of collaboration where staff work seamlessly together.
Specialty Care: Primarily focused on vascular and surgical ICU patients, with a mix of general ICU and neuro cases.
Collaborative Environment: The unit is tightly interconnected, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and communication. Staff rely on each other, which creates a supportive atmosphere.
Professional Development: The unit prioritizes continuous learning and growth, encouraging team members to advance their skills and knowledge.
Leadership Support: The charge nurse serves as both a leader and resource nurse, ensuring the staff have guidance and support at all times.
Multidisciplinary Team: The unit has dedicated Tele Techs and Respiratory Therapists, providing specialized support and improving patient care.
Engaged Management: The unit manager is actively involved in day-to-day operations, providing ongoing support and fostering a strong, team-oriented culture.
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
- Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).
This position has a hiring range of : USD $35.00 - USD $56.91 /Hr.
