RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on patient acuity
• Care for patients under 2 years of age in a 108-bed NICU
• Work with advanced equipment including nasal cannula, bubble CPAP, ventilators, oscillators, IV pumps, NIRS, warmers, and isolettes
• Document using CPN and Meditech systems
• Minimum 1 year level III NICU experience required
• Must have experience with premature infants (28 weeks gestation and above)
• Experience required with central line management and respiratory management including intubated patients
• Preferred experience with surgical patients, cardiac patients, patients under 27 weeks gestation, tracheostomy care, and broviac management
• Required certifications: BLS and NRP
• Royal blue scrubs required as uniform
• Float to PICU, Pediatrics, and CICU as needed (contract staff floats before permanent staff)
• Unit performs procedures including central line insertions, circumcisions, exploratory laparoscopies, gastroschisis reductions, and PDA ligations
• Work alongside RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and nurse externs
