We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for an 18-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina, starting Aug 4, 2025. The schedule consists of 24-hour shifts and includes dates throughout January to April. This role involves managing approximately 400-500 deliveries per year in a setting with a Level 2 special care nursery and providing comprehensive OB/GYN care, including C-sections and circumcisions. Job Details Location: North Carolina Start Date: Aug 4, 2025 LOA: 18 days Provider Type Needed: Obstetrician/Gynecologist Schedule: 24-hour shifts (7am-7am); coverage needed on Jan 6-7, Jan 26-28, Feb 23-25, Mar 20-25, Mar 30-Apr 1 Responsibilities and Duties Manage and perform all deliveries, including C-sections Conduct circumcisions as required Provide comprehensive inpatient and on-call OB/GYN care Oversee patient management in a special care nursery environment Fulfill general OB/GYN responsibilities as assigned Additional Information Must possess active North Carolina medical license Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required Experience with high-volume obstetric practice preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
