ER RN – Quick Overview Certs: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC or TNS, NIHSS License: Illinois RN (required to submit) Facility: Community ED, non-trauma | STEMI/Stroke ready Beds/Volume: 24 ED beds | ~60–80 patients/day Ratios: 1:4–5 (adjusted for acuity/staffing) Patients: All ages; medical & trauma, psych (4 safe rooms), moderate sedation, LPs Experience: 3+ years ER; moderate sedation; flexible start times; first-time travelers OK Drips: All critical care drips Staffing: ED techs (phlebotomy required), security 24/7, RT on call; RNs interpret monitors Shifts: 12s (7–7, 10–10, 11–11p, 12–12a, 7p–7a); flexibility required Weekends/Holidays: Rotating; likely to work some holidays Floating: MS/Tele/ICU (helping hands or full assignment if qualified) Orientation: 2 × 12-hour shifts + HR onboarding Scrubs: Solid professional colors Note: Prior FHN Memorial employment must be disclosed (DNU check) Entered: 1/19/2024
