Springfield, Massachusetts: A highly respected, mission-driven PACE program (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) seeks a compassionate Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatric Physician to join their interdisciplinary team in Western Massachusetts. J1/H1b visa support is available for the right candidate.Join the largest PACE site in New England (6th largest in the US), offering a quality-over-quantity model of care. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice gold-standard geriatric medicine without the burdens of typical fee-for-service systems, allowing physicians to devote time as needed for the clinical and social needs of program participants. An attractive candidate will enjoy supporting seniors and geriatric patients, will commit to providing high-quality care to a frail/elderly population, demonstrates a high emotional intelligence, and is ready to commit to the employers values of compassion, collaboration, excellence, respect, and integrity.The Boutique Practice Model: This practice is centered on providing comprehensive, quality care without the high volume typical of other models, giving their physicians a fantastic quality of life.Schedule: Convenient Mon-Fri schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays.Admin Time: One dedicated admin day/week with no direct patient care.Low Volume: Average of 2-5 patients/day out of a total panel of 60-75 patients per team.Call Schedule: Very light, shared, phone-only call averages 1:12.Team Approach: Collaborate with a team of NP/PAs, Nurses, Social Workers, PT/OT, Dieticians, and more.Scope: Team-based care is provided via site visits, home visits, and nursing home visits, all focused on enabling frail elders to remain independent in their communities.Compensation & BenefitsSalary: Highly competitive base, $275-$300K per year, based on experienceGrowth: Annual increases are likely based on personal and corporate performanceIncentives: Generous Sign-On Bonus plus a Corporate Incentive BonusTime Off: 23 days/year paid vacation (more after 5 years) plus 12 paid holidays and 5 sick daysCME: Annual budget of $2,500 for expensesInsurance: health, dental, disability, and liability coverageMore: 401K with company matching, paid license fees, relocation assistanceMassachusetts is the Best State to Live In, for Health System Performance, and for Education Quality.
