Ohio ICU RN Job Details

• Location: Concord Township, OH 44077 (Greater Cleveland area)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 12, 2026 – End: April 12, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Ohio RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
• RN Critical Care certification (CCRN) preferred
• Ability to float to all inpatient units: ICU, Stepdown, and Med/Surg
• Current immunizations and health screenings (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, TB/PPD, Fit Test, Physical/Health Statement)
• Completion of nursing skills checklists and competency exams
• Valid Driver's License or State ID
• Background check and drug screening required

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care nursing to patients in a 32-bed ICU/Stepdown unit
• Manage patients with respiratory failure, endocrine disorders, electrolyte imbalances, stroke, cardiac arrest, sepsis, COVID-19, TB, DKA, renal disorders, and other acute conditions
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:1-3 in ICU, 1:4-5 in Stepdown
• Float to Stepdown and Med/Surg units as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document all nursing care activities and patient progress
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled
