Cardiac Electrophysiologist Locum Tenens Opportunity Near Cameron, AZ Primary Duties We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiac Electrophysiologist for a locum tenens position in northern Arizona. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality care in both hospital and clinic settings, with a strong focus on heart rhythm disorders and interventional electrophysiology. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert care in the Cath Lab, conducting 3-4 hospital consults and 4-6 electrophysiology cases daily. Perform special procedures, including left-sided ablations and TEEs, with an emphasis on ablations. Manage moderate sedation independently and utilize the Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system proficiently. Handle an average daily census of 20-22 adult patients. Schedule: Standard shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including a 1-hour lunch break. Initial coverage from September 2-5, October 6-10, and 1-2 weeks per month in 2026. No on-call requirements. Qualifications: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Electrophysiology. Valid Arizona medical license, with the option to obtain through IMLC. Current ACLS certification and DEA registration in Arizona. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, with documented 100 EP cases focused on ablations in the past 2 years. Proficiency in using Cerner EMR systems. Additional Information: Facility requires both COVID-19 and Flu vaccines, with exemptions allowed for medical or religious reasons. Credentialing timeframe is approximately 30 days.
