Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity:
Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology
Job Details:
• Work 8-hour shifts, typically 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM depending on schedule
• Weekend and on-call responsibilities required
• Must be IV certified and have general nuclear medicine training from an accredited program
• Required certifications: CNMT, ARRT NM, or NMTCB, and BLS
• SPECT experience preferred
• EKG certification preferred
• Dress code requires hunter green scrubs
• No floating to other areas required
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients undergoing diagnostic scans
• Perform all nuclear medicine studies including cardiac, Lexi scans, Adenosine, VQ scans, WBC scans, HIDA, MUGA, GI bleed, Octreo, MIBG, Y90, and Zephyr procedures
• Work independently in a 3 GE camera department with dedicated cardiac and SPECT equipment
• Ideal candidates should be independent and kind
