Notably, Woman s Hospital, the only facility of its kind in Mississippi, offers Intraoperative Radiation Therapy, a groundbreaking technology that allows for cancer removal and radiation treatment simultaneously. This innovative approach reduces or eliminates the need for additional radiation treatments. Additionally, the hospital provides services such as KUBTEC, Digital Mammography, Automated Breast Ultrasound (ABUS), and stereotactic biopsies, ensuring a comprehensive and advanced range of care.
