RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Backfill position in Telemetry/IMU unit (Unit 633)
• Patient ratios of 1:6 standard patients, 1:4 for Heart Cath recovery patients
• Work with 8 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs on night shift
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Work with PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes
• Use Meditech electronic medical record system
• Perform typical telemetry procedures including central lines and medication drips
• Provide Heart Cath recovery care and assist with bubble studies
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, independence, and strong critical thinking skills
• 37-bed telemetry unit located on 3rd floor
