What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
- Monitor access points and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members while performing assigned duties.
- Remain alert to security-related risks specific to an aerospace and defense environment, following all protocols and instructions provided for the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
