Overview
Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in Central New York, and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a full or part time BC/BE Dermatologist to join its busy practice.
Description
Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated health care system that provides care and service to people living in an eight-county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school- based health centers, and health partners in related fields.
Job Description & Responsibilities
- 3 Dermatologists, which include a Mohs surgeon and Teledermatologist, and 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians
- Medical Dermatology with additional opportunity for Pediatric Dermatology, Procedural, Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology as desired
- 25-30 patients per day, 5 clinical days
- Outpatient practice
- No Call Requirement
- Virtual Scribe if desired
- Full support staff
- Office locations in Cooperstown, Oneonta, Cobleskill, Delhi/Andes, Herkimer and Little Falls with the opportunity to select your primary location
- Optional teaching opportunities with Columbia Medical Students and Bassett s Internal Medicine and Surgical Residents
- Salary Range: $500,000 - $600,000 per year plus performance-based compensation. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
- Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
- Sign-on Bonus up to $100,000

Job Qualifications
- MD, DO or MBBS
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- NYS Licensure
- BLS Certification Required
- DEA Required
