Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring a GA or compact RN license and multiple advanced certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 7pm to 7am, 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week
- No on-call responsibilities
- 13-week contract assignment
- Care for patients in an acute emergency environment
- No local candidates within a 50-mile radius
- Must work at least 2 of the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day
- Also required to work at least 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
- Permanent staff wishing to return as a traveler must have a 2-year break
- RTO must be requested up front for consideration
- Dress code and scrub requirements will be provided during onboarding
Requirements
- Active GA or compact state RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years recent Emergency Department experience required
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS required
- Must provide copies of AHA certifications at time of consideration
