Job Summary:

HCA HealthONE Cardiac and Surgical Specialists is seeking an experienced cardiothoracic surgeon to join their busy, employed practice in Denver, CO

Qualified Candidates:

• 5-10 yrs. cardiothoracic surgery practice experience required
• Board certified in thoracic surgery
• Proficient in general adult cardiac and thoracic surgery; able to take call for both
• Employed position which covers two HCA HealthONE hospitals in Denver

Incentive/Benefits Package:

• When applicable, may be eligible for additional compensation if engaged to provide call coverage services and/or administrative services.

About HCA HealthONE Cardiac and Thoracic Surgical Specialists (CTSS) and HCA HealthONE:

• CTSS is made up of two board certified thoracic surgeons and two board certified cardiac surgeons
• CTSS physicians have extensive training and experience performing a wide range of cardiac and thoracic procedures, leading both programs for HealthONE including supporting our level 1 trauma program and multiple level 2 facilities.
• The cardiac program performs an extensive range of surgery to support cardiology, including aortic, structural, valvular and coronary disease
• The thoracic program treats the full spectrum of benign and malignant esophageal and lung diseases
• Strong multi-disciplinary lung cancer team with weekly tumor boards to coordinate care
• As the program continues to grow, we are looking to add another provider to support both functions of the group, confident in managing general adult cardiac and thoracic disease, and supporting the on-call schedule

Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role, as well as qualifications such as education, training, specialty, and/or experience, along with the geographic location where the work will be performed. Applicable to production-based provider roles only, the anticipated professional production including both quantity and/or quality may also play a role. For providers only, in no case shall compensation exceed fair market value. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range.
