Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2+ years of experience and current CA state licensure for a weekday day shift assignment.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital nuclear medicine department
- 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Weekend call required as part of the schedule
- Cerner EMR experience required
- RTO is not allowed within the first two weeks and must be confirmed at the time of application
- Return staff must have a minimum one year break from prior assignment before returning
- No blocked or self-scheduling permitted
- Locals accepted at the same rate
- Must pass EKG exam (up to 3 attempts)
- Completion of pre-start and annual modules required
- References from two supervisors within the last two years required for consideration
Requirements
- Active CA state license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- ARRT (N) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine technologist experience in an acute care setting
- Cerner EMR experience required
- At least one year of full-time equivalent experience in nuclear medicine within the past two years
- NMTCB certification preferred
