Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every third holiday requirement
• Patient ratios of 1:4-5
• No call or standby requirements
• Floating requirements to medical floors, ICU, or rehab
• First week onboarding followed by 1-2 days of floor orientation
• Must pass open book exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score to continue
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• BSN not required
• Care for adults and geriatrics with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring conditions
• Required to titrate drips including Cardizem, beta blockers, and seizure medications
• Work with nurse aids/patient care techs at 1:10 or 2:20 ratios
• Fast-paced environment requiring positive attitude, communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• EPIC charting system used
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination
• Must be located more than 50 miles from facility
• Cannot be employed with any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities
• Driver's license required for distance verification
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
