Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Observation Unit day shift role in Michigan, requiring a current MI RN license and at least two years of recent experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Observation Unit specializing in chest pain and critical decision patients
• Shift is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Position is located in a hospital setting
• 13-week contract assignment
• Cannot have permanent residence within a 60-mile radius of the facility
• Travelers must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Primary responsibilities include caring for patients in an observation setting focused on chest pain and critical care decisions

Requirements

• Active and unencumbered MI RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience
• BLS required; RQI certifications are not accepted
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• COVID vaccination card required
• Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during contract
