RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Orthopedic
Job Details:
• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be specified on submission form)
• 26-week assignment length
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• Patient ratio of 1:6 on a 30-bed orthopedic unit
• Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed
• 2 years orthopedic experience required (inpatient only)
• Current RN license required (Missouri or eligible for Missouri licensure)
• Required certifications: BLS from AHA
• Preferred certifications: ACLS from AHA
• Use EPIC electronic medical records system
• Dress code: Black scrubs only
• Night shift orientation conducted on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation
• Provide direct patient care for post-trauma, surgical, and medical comorbidity patients
• Utilize nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments
• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance
