Job Details:
• Weekend position working every Saturday and Sunday plus one rotating weekday
• 3 years of OR experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• 6 call shifts required in a 6-week period
• Holiday coverage required - must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Circulating required, scrubbing preferred
• Must be well-rounded and current in most OR areas except CV & Transplant
• Will float within scope to meet facility needs
• Work with adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Proficiency required in various surgical procedures including general surgery, plastic surgery, gynecology, ENT, trauma, neurosurgery, orthopedics, GU, colorectal robotics
• Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System preferred
• Must have Indiana state license in hand prior to start date
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Charting system: Cerner
• Free parking available
• Floating required 100% of the time to meet facility needs

This is a Level I trauma center and short-term acute care facility featuring a comprehensive 24-room operating suite with advanced surgical capabilities. The facility maintains a busy surgical schedule with an average daily census of 70-80 cases and specializes in a wide range of procedures including robotic surgery, trauma care, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and general surgery. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and provides comprehensive surgical services across multiple specialties.
