An academic center in western Massachusetts is adding an OB-Hospitalist to its team. They are the largest multispecialty group in the region.
About the Opportunity:
- Flexibility with scheduling 12 and 24-hour shifts. Inpatient only
- No call
- OB/GYN team includes dedicated physicians, subspecialist support, CNMs, labor and Delivery nurses, and PCTs
- The OB Hospitalist delivers inpatient obstetrical care on an emergency and routine basis and provides clinical supervision of the OB triage unit, staffed 24/7 by experienced Certified Nurse Midwives
- The department has approximately 4200 deliveries annually, with a high proportion of high-risk pregnancies and a level 3 NICU
- Practice in an academic environment consisting of 24 OB/GYN residents, medical students, and advanced practice providers
- Faculty appointment available
