A Urology Physician practicing full-scope adult urology including clinic duties and on-call responsibilities in Alaska. The role involves covering physician shortages with a schedule of two weeks on and two weeks off, working alongside one other urologist and support staff. Candidates should be comfortable performing procedures independently, potentially using robotic assistance without an assistant present, and using EPIC EMR systems.
Location: Alaska (Inquire for specific hospital and city)
Duration: January - August (possible conversion to perm if desired)
Reason for coverage: Physician shortage
Schedule: 2 weeks on/ 2 weeks off
Call: yes, nightly and weekly when in town
Patient volume: TBD
Scope: Full scope, adults, clinic and call. Have an XI, but it would not be a requirement, but a plus. They do not have an assistant that could sit in on the procedures. Some Urologist are comfortable without having an assist, but some are not. If they wanted to use the robot, they would have to be comfortable not having an assist.
EMR: EPIC
Group/support: 1 other urologist and support staff
Requirements (boards, license): AK license preferred, but will consider unlicensed
