Opportunity:
MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech
Job Details:
• Work evening/night shifts from 8:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• Four 10-hour shifts per week for a total of 40 hours
• Prepare for and perform all MRI examinations while operating assigned equipment safely
• Develop, initiate, and monitor procedures for effective MRI scanner utilization
• Perform IV access using sterile technique and administer contrast media under physician supervision
• Maintain scanner and equipment cleanliness according to infection control policies
• Follow MRI safety and quality assurance procedures
• Utilize PACS, RIS, and current EMR systems efficiently
• Complete required paperwork for each examination performed
• Lift and transfer patients using safe ergonomic techniques and equipment as needed
• Comply with all continuing education requirements as dictated by regulatory entities
• BLS certification required
• Washington State Certification as radiologic technologist required
• Must be graduate of ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology course
• ARRT registered in MRI required
• Minimum 2 years of previous MRI experience required
