RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week with 3 shifts per week and every other weekend rotation
• No call requirements
• Assignment length of 13 or 26 weeks
• COVID ICU classification with high acuity patients
• Patient ratio of 1:2 in 14-bed unit
• Floating required as needed per facility floating policy
• 2+ years of ICU experience required
• Must be comfortable with vasoactive drips and have strong understanding of hemodynamics
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• Active Texas RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
• ECMO and CRRT (NxtStg) experience preferred
• Meditech documentation system experience preferred
• Work with advanced equipment including ECMO NxtSTG
• Perform procedures including ECMO, CRRT, chest tube insertions, and central line insertions
• Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket
• Hair and appearance must be neat and professional, body art should be covered when possible
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
