Locum Emergency Medicine Physician needed for a 6-month assignment at an inpatient psychiatric hospital in Florida to provide medical coverage for adult psychiatric inpatients, manage walk-in patient needs, collaborate with clinical staff, and maintain documentation. Shifts are variable (12-, 16-, and 24-hour shifts, including weekends), up to 40 hours/week, ASAP start, mostly adult population, no on-call. Candidates must be MD/DO, board certified, hold active Florida medical license, DEA, ATLS, and BLS certifications; Emergency Medicine experience preferred but Internal Medicine background will be considered.
