RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment duration
• Patient ratio: 1:2 or 1:3 depending on acuity level
• 15-bed NICU unit
• Arizona nursing license required
• Minimum 3 years of NICU experience required
• Level 3 NICU experience required
• Required certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), Infant Driven Feeding Certificate
• Preferred certification: STABLE
• Attend high-risk and newborn deliveries
• Handle NICU admits and assessments
• Start IVs and draw laboratory specimens
• Ventilator experience required
• May float to postpartum unit during low census to take newborn assignments or couplets if experienced
• Utilize Cerner EMR system
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in care planning
• Delegate patient care priorities and provide supervision of assigned personnel
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
