Position Title: Shipping Coordinator

Wage: $17.00 - $20.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm

We need a highly organized and efficient Shipping Coordinator to take over the fast-paced shipping and receiving components of our operation. The successful candidate will manage both initial shipping and any returns or replacements. Apply to this 1st shift role in Libertyville, IL today!

Shipping Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily outbound orders
- Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs
- Audit and file inbound and outbound documents
- Process orders based on the customers’ preferred shipping system. (ex. UPS, FedEx, etc.)
- Contact carriers and schedule shipping
- Maintain clean and safe work area
- Load and unload trailers
- Print and sort Bills of Lading (BOLs) for every order that is loaded on the trailer and obtain signatures on the BOLs
- Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries and distributing packages and letters within the company
- Schedule LTL shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipments
- Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers
- Manage issues in shipping or receiving
- Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints as needed
- Place merchandise in the inbound receiving location
- Utilize electric hand jack or pallet rider as needed
- Effectively collaborate with your team to increase production
- Interact with customers, couriers, drivers, and other employees in a professional manner

Requirements for Shipping Coordinator:
- Good time management and communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Good computer skills
- Able to stand, walk, and reach throughout shift
- Able to lift up to 25lbs
- Strong attention to detail
