Join Our Team as a Pediatric Neurohospitalist in Beautiful Denver, CO
Pediatrix is seeking motivated, well-trained, and collaborative Pediatric Neurohospitalists to join our team in the stunning Rocky Mountains of Denver. Our facility offers an excellent work-life balance and is part of a leading healthcare provider within the HealthONE system and HCA Healthcare, renowned for its commitment to delivering top-notch medical care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide in-patient child neurology care, including high-level ICU management.
- Conduct daily rounds with a moderate patient volume using a 7 on/7 off scheduling model.
- Manage continuous EEG monitoring and write reports accordingly.
- Consult for pediatric patients across NICU, PICU, floor, and ER.
- Collaborate with pediatric specialists and other hospital departments to ensure optimal patient care.
- Serve a five-state referral region (CO, KS, NE, NM, WY) for diverse pediatric neurological conditions.
Qualifications:
- BE/BC in child neurology (Required)
- Neurohospitalist experience preferred, but not required
- Experience with continuous EEG monitoring is beneficial
License and Certification Requirements:
- Colorado medical license (or willingness to obtain)
- DEA must be obtained prior to start
- Visa support may be required (J1 or H1B)
