Are you a seasoned Project Engineer looking for a thrilling new challenge in the commercial construction industry? We are on the lookout for a Permanent Sr. Project Engineer who specializes in Commercial Tenant Improvement (TI) projects in the LA/OC area. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Sr. Project Engineer, you will:
1. Oversee all stages of project life cycles, from initial planning to completion.
2. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
3. Implement industry best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.
4. Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
5. Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations and standards.
6. Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to the project team.
7. Resolve any project-related issues promptly and effectively.
8. Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders.
9. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the project team.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on Commercial TI projects.
3. Proven experience in managing office, retail, restaurant, educational, and high-end commercial projects.
4. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
5. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential issues.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
8. Proficiency in construction software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various project sites.
10. A strong commitment to safety and quality.
