Job Details:
• Provide direct patient care, medications and sterilization techniques in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
• Act as patient advocate while assisting physicians with procedures in Cardiac Cath Lab
• Perform cardiovascular studies/interventions and special procedure studies/interventions
• Handle approximately 11 visits per day in 3 procedure rooms
• Work with adult patients exclusively
• Call requirement: 9-10 days per month with every second or third weekend call
• Weekend coverage required with two call shifts per contract
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• 2 years of experience required; 3 years preferred
• Cath Lab experience required; Interventional Radiology experience strongly preferred
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Must hold current Arkansas nursing license in good standing or Compact State license
• Position designated as safety sensitive under Arkansas Act 593
• Work with specialized equipment including MacLab, Impella, Penumbra, Laser, Rotoblade, CSI, Hybrid, Pacemaker, and Moderate Sedation equipment
• Handle various procedures including diagnostic and interventional cardiac, vascular, and structural heart procedures
