The Henry Ford Jackson Division of Gastroenterology is seeking a Board Eligible/Certified Gastroenterologist with ERCP certification. Job Responsibilities:- Provide care in inpatient and outpatient settings, including rounds and clinic duties.
- Respond to growth needs and fill a replacement position.
- Average patient load includes coverage one day a week with APP support.
- Work closely with the Jackson Division of Gastroenterology, which collaborates with the Henry Ford Medical Group.
- Engage in teaching opportunities through the Graduate Medical Education (GME) program.
- Demonstrate and apply a broad knowledge of the field through moderately complex assignments.
- Maintain compliance with organizational business practices.
- Participate in a 1:6 on-call rotation, including weekends.
- Bear responsibilities beyond those expressly defined in the job description as needed.
- Board Eligible (must become Board Certified within one year) or Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
- Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology.
- 5-8 years of GI work experience preferred.
- Clean malpractice and license history.
- Current COVID and flu vaccinations required.
- ERCP certification; consideration for proctoring available.
- Preferred certifications in ITIL and PMP.
- Ability to work with H1B visa support; J1 visa candidates not accepted.
- Valid Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA and CSR/CDS certification required prior to start.
- Recent NPDB Report (within the last 30 to 60 days).
