Trauma Level: Level 3 Total Number of Beds: 38 Annual ER Volume: 44,000 EMR System: Meditech Expanse Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 45 Days Responsibilities: Patient Care: Provide expert care to emergency department patients, with an average of 12 patients per 8-hour shift. For those opting for longer shifts, expect around 18 patients per 12-hour shift. Codes: You will not be responsible for codes on the floor. Admissions: Hospitalists or the admitting service will handle admissions. APP Coverage: Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are available, with their schedule running from 8am to 10pm.
