This role requires board certification, active Michigan licensure, and experience in emergency settings, emphasizing rapid assessment, treatment, and coordination of patient care and transfers. The position involves working various shifts in a dynamic hospital environment utilizing Cerner EMR and hospital support services.
ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking experienced Advanced Practice Providers (NPs or PAs) to provide independent coverage in the hospital s Level 3 Emergency Department. This role supports the fast-track area ( VUE ) within the ED, working closely with attending physicians and residents in a dynamic, high-volume environment. Providers must be board certified, local to Michigan, and able to manage a range of emergency presentations independently.

Ongoing Need: 11 AM 11 PM shift desired 7 days/week
Provide independent patient care in Fast Track/VUE (10-bed) area within the ED
Collaborate with attending physicians available 24/7 for consultation
Manage approximately 110 patients per day, divided among providers
Work within a 50-bed ED handling approximately 40,150 annual visits
Cerner EMR utilized for documentation
20% of ED patients admitted to the hospital daily; 60% of hospital admissions originate from the ED
Participate in a team with emergency physicians, residents, and support staff
Handle all patient presentations except deliveries (sent to L&D)
Coordinate transfers (e.g., pediatric and trauma to Sparrow, stroke to McLaren Flint)
Access to full hospital support services: 24-hour Radiology, Lab, Blood Bank, Pathology, OR, and all surgical specialties
Board Certified NP or PARequired
