This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled surgeon to provide supplemental coverage in an inpatient setting. The position is available immediately and will be ongoing. The role primarily involves call-only coverage, with responsibilities including inpatient consultations and working alongside a fully staffed team of hospitalists and ICU attendings. Team Collaboration: Work closely with general surgery PAs who are in-house most of the time, as well as a fully staffed team of hospitalists and ICU attendings. Patient Care: Rounding on unassigned patients, with an expected patient load of around 4 per shift. Requirements: Licensing: Must be licensed in the state of Massachusetts. Board Certification: Board Certified in Vascular Surgery. Fellowship: Fellowship training in Vascular Surgery is preferred. Certifications Required: BLS Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated to be 30-90 days, with temporary privileges available for qualified candidates.
