- Duration: 14-week contract
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,990 - $2,130
- Openings: 3 ICU RN positions
- Setting: 16-bed Intensive Care Unit with overflow capacity
- Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday required
- No on-call required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- Minimum 4 years of nursing experience, with at least 2.5 years in Critical Care or ICU
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Experience with EPIC charting required; Cerner experience preferred
- De-escalation training (Welle, CPI, or PMCS) required (can be completed prior to start)
- Ability to float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed
- Must be able to start on January 15, 2026
- Flu vaccination required (religious/medical documentation accepted)
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- At least 1 year of ICU RN experience required
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care to adult and geriatric populations in ICU and PCU settings
- Monitor and assess patients with complex, life-threatening conditions in a critical care environment
- Utilize advanced monitoring equipment for invasive pressure and cardiac monitoring
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC and Cerner electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including case managers and physicians
- Participate in de-escalation and crisis intervention as needed
- Float to PCU as required by hospital needs
- Work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled
