We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina, starting Dec 16, 2025. This full-time opportunity offers a rotating 36/40 schedule with 12-hour weekday shifts and shorter weekend hours, requiring autonomy and flexibility to float between clinics.

- Schedule: Full-time, rotating 36/40 schedule; weekdays 8am-8pm, weekends 8am-4pm; every other weekend required; must be able to float among nearby clinics
Responsibilities and Duties- Provide autonomous urgent care to a high volume of patients (40+ per shift)
- Conduct patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with medical assistants and front desk staff
- Manage cases efficiently within a streamlined provider/MA/front desk business model
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and state regulations
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation
Additional Information- Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in North Carolina
- Must be able to work independently; new graduates will not be considered
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certifications required
- DOT certification is a plus
