Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Bridgeport, CT
Contract Length: 36 Weeks | Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,250 (Based on Experience)
Connected Health Care is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an esteemed Educational Services client in Bridgeport, CT. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to help students develop communication skills and thrive academically.
Job Responsibilities:- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to integrate speech therapy into the classroom.
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services, including one-on-one and group sessions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Educate and train teachers and families on strategies to support communication development.
Qualifications & Requirements:- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Connecticut state licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
