As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring environment for employees and visitors. You will utilize your training and professionalism to respond to incidents as needed, while delivering exceptional customer service and communication in alignment with our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas within the location to help to deter breaches and maintain a visible presence.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and/or customers while upholding site-specific standards.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate important information to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Support emergency response efforts and assist law enforcement or emergency responders when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of three years combined experience in law enforcement, military, or security, or possess a college degree.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
