Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Stepdown PCU position requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Cardiac Stepdown Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Care for adult cardiac stepdown patients with intermediate acuity
- Provide monitoring and care for adult patients transitioning from ICU to general units
- Collaborate closely with cardiac care team members
- First-time travelers may be considered
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum one year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit
- Current AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, valid through contract
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
