The 10,000-square-foot facility includes 11 private treatment rooms, a dedicated trauma bay, on-site imaging (CT, X-ray, ultrasound), and a full-service laboratory delivering hospital-level emergency care without the need to travel to Blacksburg. Designed to improve access for residents of Christiansburg and surrounding communities, the ER provides rapid treatment for everything from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies, ensuring seamless coordination and patient transfers to LewisGale Hospital Montgomery when specialized or inpatient care is required.
