A growing health services company in California is currently seeking a licensedOB/GYN Physician to join one of their facilities in Los Angeles. In this role, the OB/GYN Physician will be responsible forprovide general care to women, includingservices relating to pregnancy or childbirth as well as treating, testing, diagnosing and monitoring diseases.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: Ongoing
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 5pm
- Call: Sharedtelephonic on the weekends and evenings
- EMR:ECW
- Setting: Clinic
- Patient Population:Adults (primarily) & Adolescents
- Patient Volume: 18 to 22 per day
Responsibilities:
The OB/GYN Physician will:
- Providedirect patient care for OB/GYN clinic patients
- Examine, diagnose,and prescribetreatment for patients
- Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management
- Functionappropriately as part of care delivery team through efficient use of resources and skills
- Chart in electronic format in accordance with licensure and scope
- Utilizequality improvement tools to promote continuous improvement in the delivery of patient care, outcomes and workflows
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years ofexperience in OB/GYN specialty area.
- Medical Doctorate degree (M.D.) and/orDoctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited School of Medicine
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of California
- Board Eligible / Certified OB/GYN
- BLS certification
