We are seeking a board-certified Hematologist/Oncologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Indiana, starting Dec 1, 2025. This role features flexible outpatient clinic scheduling Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with call rotation every 4th or 5th week and a blend of oncology and benign hematology consults.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM5:30 PM; 36 hours of ambulatory clinic coverage per week; call rotation every 4th or 5th week (one full week at a time); expected hospital visits for new consults on weekdays, rounding on weekends as needed

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide consultative care for solid and liquid malignancies, as well as benign hematology cases
• Manage a caseload consisting of approximately 70% oncology and 30% hematology (primarily benign)
• Deliver patient care in an outpatient clinic setting and perform hospital consults as scheduled
• Participate in a call rotation, providing coverage for one full week every 4th or 5th week
• Conduct hospital rounding on weekends as required
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and continuity
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters

Additional Information

• Indiana medical license required
• Board certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
