The Chief of Cardiovascular Services leads the cardiology department by providing clinical care, administrative oversight, and quality improvement. This role balances 80% clinical duties with 20% leadership responsibilities including staff performance management, protocol development, and strategic planning. The position also involves participation in medical education and collaboration with hospital leadership to enhance patient care and departmental goals.

Regional airport with daily flights to Phoenix, Las Vegas and beyondOVERVIEWCardiovascular Department Chair to join our established and growing employed practice. The Department Chair is responsible for delivering outstanding patient care as well as administrative leadership and oversight for the department and clinical specialty subsections. ROLE Conducts clinical, administrative and quality oversight of our cardiology providers within the Department. Clinical work as a 0.8 FTE and 0.2 administrative FTE. Establishes standards and protocols for evidence-based cardiovascular medicine within the Department. Determines the immediate, intermediate and long-term goals for the Cardiology Department in alignment with Department strategy. Conducts annual performance reviews of cardiology providers and supports their professional development. Works with Chief Medical Officer to continuously improve cardiovascular quality and patient experience. Participate in leadership development programs, medical staff committees and serves as a voting member of the Medical Group. Leadership Council as required by the Chief Medical Officer. Ongoing commitment to continuing medical education and professional development of cardiology providers within the Department.
