Position: RN – Med Surg – Contract (DAYS: 7am-7:pm)
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, high-quality patient care using evidence-based nursing practices.
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families on health, disease prevention, and care transitions.
- Deliver care through a relationship-centered model to enhance patient experience.
- Perform charge nurse duties, coordinate supplies, and facilitate patient throughput.
Requirements:
Active NYS RN license and BLS certification.
Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience.
EPIC experience
BSN.
Availability for a 3x12 schedule; unit average census 33–35 patients.
