The Lead Physician is responsible for the strategic visualization and leadership of all operations for the Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.The position involves patient care, administrative leadership duties, teaching of residents and supervision of Internal and Family Medicine Residents, and opportunities for research in collaboration with clinical research division.Lead Physician will serve as the administrative leader providing direction in operational financial performance, recruitment, strategic planning, retention and oversight.Clinical Program Development Create a single system division of Endocrinology with the appropriate clinical infrastructure to achieve financial and clinical quality goals. This would include a unified approach to financial reporting, quality reporting, Recruitment, practice operations and practice norms.
