Job Details:

• Work 8-hour or 12-hour day shifts with night rotation as needed by unit
• Weekend requirement includes Saturday or Sunday (2-3 shifts per 6-week schedule period)
• On-call responsibilities include 4-hour blocks, 3-4 shifts both weekday and weekend in 6-week schedule
• Holiday coverage required (at least 1 holiday)
• No floating expectations
• Must have BLS certification (AHA required)
• Minimum 2 years Level 1 trauma experience required
• Travel experience required (at least 1-2 assignments, cannot be first travel assignment)
• Neonate and pediatric experience preferred
• Strong endovascular and robotic experience preferred
• Epic EMR system with OpTime module access required
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Work in 25 OR facility handling 60-80 cases per day
• Weekend operations include 5-6 rooms on Saturday and Sunday with 4 rooms running 24/7
• Handle diverse service lines including orthopedics, general surgery, robotics, organ transplants, ENT, vascular/thoracic, urology, and pediatrics

Facility:

This medical campus features a comprehensive surgical department with 25 operating rooms handling a high volume of 60-80 cases daily. The facility operates as a Level 1 trauma center providing advanced surgical services across multiple specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, robotics, organ transplants, ENT, vascular/thoracic, urology, and pediatrics. The organization maintains state-of-the-art surgical equipment and utilizes Epic EMR systems to support complex surgical procedures and patient care coordination.
